Ever wonder what your pastor's wife is REALLY thinking?

I found this today and wanted to share it with you all...

The life of a minister's wife is indescribable. Indescribably hard and indescribably rewarding!

Comments from real ministers wives from across the nation were submitted to Beth Moore's Living Proof blog. A collection of these were adapted into three short videos that were shown live at LifeWay's Living Proof Live event in Nashville in March of 2009, an event that was created specifically for ministers wives.
This only reflects a small portion of the comments that were submitted leading up to the event.

(the music used is from the score of the Glory Road soundtrack featuring Alicia Keys)

Wow! As a pastor's wife of many years, I can definitely identify with many of these comments, and cry for others. When God called me to marry a seminary student, I had to be sure I was called to serve as his wife. I would never have seen myself in this position as I imagined it. I learned that God wanted me to be myself and be willing to be used to support my husband and our children, so HE could use him without a hindrance at home! Over these 40 plus years, I have been blessed. I wish I could sit with young PWs and encourage them to experience God's grace in their lives as a pastor's wife... a great calling!

Please tell me how I can send this on to some young friends of mine.

Bless your sweet heart! I take a long sigh and say, I feel your heart. Yes, God has entrusted you with much and I speak from experience when I say, He will never give you more than you can handle. EVER!

Use your sisters in Christ to bear your burdens, that is what we are all here for. In the meantime, I will definitely have a new prayer going out to all the pastor's wives.

Thank you for opening my eyes, as i never saw it that way.

Blessings for peace and protection, ~Kindle

Honestly? I cried during these. I love you, and am more thankful for you and your support and encouragement then I often say.
I'm the husband of this pastor's wife.

Very powerful videos.

Thanks you Tara and Doug for ALL that you do, for being in service 24/7.

I pray that you will feel appreciated and know that your efforts are effective - while you are young, while you are giving your all and wanting to give even more.

Love from G. on the coast
