You know what's not fair?

That I still have to be a functioning mommy when I am sick.

That's just not fair.

All in all though I AM starting to feel better. I don't feel like I am going to pass out cold any minute which is a big improvement.

My brain is still mush though so I will try to come up with something witty and intelligent to say tomorrow. Thanks for all your well-wishes!

i'm so sorry you're feeling crummy! us moms work so hard, we deserve sick days.
Those days are the worse. But, when Daddy's sick...not only do you have to take care of your kids, but also the sick Daddy! NOT FAIR!

I have something for you HERE.

As the Daddy/husband in Tara's household I would like to go on record as saying that I am invincible and NEVER get sick.

(please bring your sense of humor if you read anything I type...)

Hope you are feeling better soon. Mommies can never get a break even when sick :)

Ugh! You hit the nail on the head! It's not fair that we still have to be functioning. Isn't there a rule or law somewhere that states Mommies get sick leave? ;) Hope you feel better soon!

Maybe we should sock money away for sick days! Yeah, yeah, we moms could rent hotel rooms for a few days, and CALL IN SICK at home, when we're really sick. Doctor's note? You betcha, whatever gets me out of the "office." Say it with me now, A-HA! Blessings, Whitney

Feel better soon. I hope Daddy told the kiddies to be good for Mommy while she's sick (yay, like that would work!).

Unfortunately there are no sick days for mommies! I hope that you feel better soon.
Being sick as a mom just makes me sick!

I stumble my way through the day trying to survive and make it to the moment when dh comes home!

I let the kids watch too much tv, play too much on the computer and watch my house change into a big toy pit.

So I feel for you and I hope you feel better soon!

I know hey?? Sickness ravaged our household a few months back and I got ONE day to feel like poop before hubby got sick and needed tending too as well. HE got to milk it for about, oh, 2 weeks.
Sigh. Glad you're feeling better.

Ughhh! It's the worst, isn't it? I hope you're able to get some rest this weekend so you'll be feeling better soon!
Yucko! I am so sorry! I've only had a cold this week and it has made everything a thousand times worse.

I hope you feel better so, so soon!!!
I'm so sorry you're feeling bad. Again, I wish I was close enough to bring soup and take your kids to school for you (not today of course, but you know, during the week when you're resting).

Yup, mummies have a hard time with sick days. We really don't get them, at least not very often. It's so hard to trudge through those days. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Hey, every time I come here, your picture looks SO familiar to me, like I know you from somewhere. Maybe we can chat a bit and figure out if I really do know you, or am just imagining it! ;)
